The Well Church.
A Place For You!

What We Believe

We believe that the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross has provided healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:4; 1 Peter 2:24). We believe it is God's will for everyone who is sick or diseased to receive bodily healing by faith.
We believe in the victorious, redemptive work of Christ on the cross that provides freedom from the power of the enemy – sin, lies, sickness, and torment. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations, laying on of hands and healing the sick, and casting out demons.
Our Mission at The Well Church is to be a city on a hill that glorifies God, gives hope to the hurting, and is a place of redemption with real encounters with our savior Jesus Christ. Our Vision is to empower others to live a prosperous and successful life through the power of the Holy Spirit and to carry out our Statement of Belief.
God is good. There is one God, the Creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14).
Jesus is the Son of God, divine and perfect, who lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and was born of the virgin Mary. His sacrificial death and subsequent resurrection are seen as the foundation of salvation, emphasizing God's love for humanity as expressed in John 3:16. The doctrine of the Trinity describes God as three persons in one essence—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—affirming Jesus's divine nature and role as Savior.
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruits and gifts functioning in the Church (1 Cor. 12:8-10; Heb. 2:3-14). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth, with the normal initial evidence of speaking in other tongues (Luke 11:13; Acts 2:4).
The Holy Bible is the living, inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God and is the foundation of all Christian doctrine. The Bible was written by the prophets and apostles who were guided and directed by the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
We believe in the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the “new birth” by faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:7).
Those who place their faith in Jesus are invited into this mission and entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. We believe we can live a victorious life here on earth as it is in Heaven.
Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence and man was created to exist forever, either separate from God by sin or in union with God. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. (Dan. 12:2; John 11:25-26; Rev. 21:7,8; I Thes. 4:17).
We believe that baptism is an outward expression of your inward faith in Jesus through full immersion water baptism.
Our Mission at The Well Church is to be a city on a hill that glorifies God. We long to give hope to the hurting and create a space to shepherd the lost. The Well is a place of redemption with real encounters with our Savior Jesus Christ.

Vision

The Well is a place where the forgotten, shamed, and empty encounter Jesus.

The Well is a church where the hurting encounter a space that overflows with the love, laughter, grace, and truth of Jesus. We are all the woman at the well: Messy. Empty. Rejected and Shamed. In desperate need of the One who is waiting for us at the well. And once we receive what only He can give, we can’t resist running to bring others to meet him at The Well.

Values

JESUS IS OUR HOPE
01

Jesus is the hope of the world. He fulfills all God’s promises and embodies His character. We submit to Jesus as our leader, mentor, and king who makes us more like Him as we grow to love Him more.

PEOPLE ARE OUR PASSION
02

Every person is deeply loved by God. Because people matter to God, we care about the whole person: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

WORSHIP IS OUR RESPONSE
03

We are deeply grateful for who God is, what He’s done, and what He promises to do. We want to express that gratitude by living to please God in everything we do.

COMMUNITY IS OUR DESIGN
04

God created us to experience life with Him and with each other. We choose to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of life together, knowing that people will see God when they see our love for one another.

FAITH IS OUR FOUNDATION
05

Our relationship with God is built on trust. No matter what life throws at us, we don’t have to rely on ourselves or worry about tomorrow. At the end of the day, we choose to obey God and enjoy Him.

GENEROSITY IS OUR NORM
06

Everything we have has been given to us by God and belongs to him. We make it a point to share with others what God has so generously entrusted to us.

SERVING IS OUR PRIVILEGE
07

God gives each of us abilities that we can use to serve Him by serving people. We look for opportunities where we can use our gifts for the good of others and experience the joy that comes with it.

SCRIPTURE IS OUR GUIDE
08

The Bible reveals who God is and who we are. It describes our purpose and our destiny. We read and engage Scripture to understand God’s will so that we can partner with Him to accomplish it.
